I missed the previous questions particularly on the cheeses, because i am not a cheese lover and do not know anything about cheeses and because we are not a milk rich country. Today, I learned from Four Foods on Friday #27 that we are focusing on frozen foods. Again, we do not have frozen dinners (I think! – I have not seen any on the supermarket shelves). So I asked myself, will I continue on missing this fun blog!!! Definitely NOT !!! and realized that this is a wonderful way of sharing about foods in all parts of the world including our country.
#1. What brand of frozen dinners do you think are the best and why?
As I said we do not have frozen dinners unless frozen pizza counts!!! The closest thing to frozen dinner that we have would be frozen meat cuts – hotdogs, salami, ham, marinated chicken. marinated barbecue and one that appeals to my taste is the Monterey Meat. they have the best tasting barbecue
.
#2. What is your favorite frozen waffle or breakfast food?
I would rather mix my own waffles or hot cake because I have a large, large family. However, i also like commercially bought mixes because they are light and fluffy (no brand in particular).
#3. Frozen appetizers. Which one is your favorite?
Have not tried frozen appetizer. Usually, its a salad
#4. Share a recipe or meal made from at least one frozen food.
We have less of meats in our freezer and more of fishes particularly tuna. I like to marinate fish cuts in soy sauce and vinegar with powdered pepper. After a few minutes I coat it with flour or bread crumbs and deep fry. I match this recipe with saute’d vegetables.
CHALLENGE: Share a picture of either the inside of your refrigerator, freezer or cabinet

My fresh vegetable tray
Oh! It looks like you use fresh vegetables. Do you have a garden?
My father loves fresh vegetables, says they’re better than any canned or frozen.
Thanks for playing FFOF!
Stumbled.
[...] Babet shared a recipe for tuna as well as a picture of her fresh vegetable tray for this week’s challenge. She has not tried frozen appetizers. [...]
I, for one, am glad you played. One of the best things about the internet is meeting people from around the globe.
I take a frozen meal almost every day for lunch, so it’s hard to think of them not being available!
Something tells me that you feed your family healthy. Nothing frozen and plenty of fish. Thanks for the tuna recipe.
I love eating tuna but it’s hard to find a good place to buy it down here or I’m just not looking in the right place. I’ll buy it from the local restaurant I frequent when the owner gets some in to freeze and then cook myself. I’ve tagged you for a meme! http://hterry.com/another-tag
